Getting Ready Photos and Details

The venue has a STUNNING and spacious bridal suite. With a big window on the back wall and 6 mirrors for hair and makeup, you and your girls have plenty of room for getting ready and the photos to come with it.

Details at The New Southern Hotel are a breeze with arch windows and beautiful flooring.

First Looks

First looks make everyone teary. Whether you are doing a first look just with your girls, with family or with your partner, these are always tear-jerking moments. The windows allow for beautiful, natural lighting that make everyone involved glow with happiness.

Couples Portraits

As a Memphis wedding photographer, getting creative with the space available for couples portraits is so important. So many venues are in the city and don’t offer a “private” outdoor space for the couple to enjoy. Right outside the front door and along the street can produce some really beautiful and timelessly classic couples wedding photos.

Ceremony

Being a wedding photographer in Memphis, and all parts of Tennessee, have led me to seeing some stunning ceremonies over the years. Anna had a vision of a super clean, super timeless aesthetic and she absolutely achieved it.

When having a nighttime ceremony in Tennessee, in January, the light disappears FAST, but flash during ceremonies can really produce that nostalgic, filmy and moody vibe to your photos making them timeless as well!

Reception

The fun part, food, drinks and dancing. The New Southern Hotel has the perfect space for receptions. While guests are finishing dinner, they can look over the balcony to see the bride and groom enjoying their first dance together. Guests can dance the night away with drinks and late night snacks right beside the dance floor.
