As a Tennessee engagement photographer, one of my favorite things is bringing a couple’s dream vision to life. Dianna and Aden already had a beautiful idea in mind for their engagement photos, so I was thrilled to help them narrow down the perfect location in Nashville. We had so much fun capturing their dream engagement photos at Bicentennial Park, The Parthenon, the State Capitol, and finally a local coffee shop!
Nashville Engagement Session
Nashville is one of my favorite cities for engagement sessions because it’s brimming with charming spots and versatile backdrops. Whether you’re looking for something timeless or a bit more eclectic, this city has it all. Dianna and Aden wanted to share their engagement news with friends and family as soon as possible, so we got right to work finalizing the details—starting with chatting about their vision and brainstorming the perfect locations.
Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park Engagement Photos
From the beginning, Dianna knew she wanted a sunrise engagement session. Since Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is a popular tourist spot, I knew an early morning shoot would provide the best experience for Dianna’s dream photos. Not only did we avoid the usual crowds, but the soft golden light of sunrise created the perfect romantic glow for their session. This location is ideal for couples who prefer a little more privacy while taking photos, and Dianna and Aden made the most of it. The park offers stunning views of the Nashville skyline, lush greenery, and beautifully manicured gardens, giving us a variety of backdrops to work with.
The Parthenon in Nashville, TN
The Parthenon is another iconic Nashville location that worked perfectly for their session. For those unfamiliar, this full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece, is both a monument to classical architecture and home to Nashville’s art museum. With its grand columns and intricate detailing, it provided an elegant and timeless setting for Dianna and Aden’s engagement photos. Their romantic wardrobe choices—Dianna in a flowing white dress and Aden in a classic button-down—blended seamlessly with the backdrop, making for truly breathtaking images.
Nashville Coffee Shop Engagement Photos
To bring a more relaxed, everyday feel to their gallery, we wrapped up their session at a cozy Nashville coffee shop. While the exact spot is sadly no longer open, don’t worry! One of the best things about this city is that there’s no shortage of charming cafés (or other little hidden gems) perfect for an intimate engagement session.
Dianna switched from her elegant dress to a classic white tee, jeans, and heels, creating a more relaxed vibe. The warm, inviting atmosphere of the café paired beautifully with the golden-hour light streaming through the windows, giving us a soft, romantic indoor setting to complement their outdoor shots. From the grandeur of Bicentennial Park and The Parthenon to the intimate charm of a local coffee shop, Dianna and Aden’s engagement session was the perfect mix of classic and cozy. Capturing their love in the heart of Music City was an absolute joy, and I can’t wait to see where their journey takes them next!
