You’re engaged… has that set in yet? YOU. ARE. GETTING. MARRIED!
Okay so you have the ring, and maybe a Pinterest board with the entire wedding already planned, now you need the photos for the save the dates and invitations. This is where I step in to tell you I got you! As a Nashville wedding photographer, there are so many beautiful location for my couples to choose from. Here are a few of my favorites:
The Tennessee State Capitol
The Tennessee state capitol building is a perfect spot for engagement photos in Nashville if you are looking for a more “fancy” and “upscale” vibe. The stairs, chandeliers and neutral colors offer really beautiful spots for classic photos. The stairs, columns and doors outside also offer another change of scenery right in the same spot.
The Parthenon and Centennial Park
All Nashville locals know that this is a SUPER popular spot for engagement photos and proposals, and for good reason. The Parthenon itself is a great neutral color location that can make any color scheme look stunning, and the landscape in Centennial Park is STELLAR when everything is in bloom.
A hidden secret is that this Nashville engagement photo location is prettiest, and the least crowded, at sunrise!
Belmont University Campus
I know what you are thinking, why would I take my engagement photos at Belmont University? THIS is why.
Belmont is known for its stunning and state of the art facilities right in the heart of Nashville, so engaged couples, this is your sign to consider it. None of my couples that have chosen Belmont University have been students of the school, but how cool would it be if this is where you met?
Harlinsdale
This location is not right in the heart of Nashville, but for those wanting a less “city” vibe, Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, Tennessee is my go-to suggestion. The park has fields, barns and a pond on site, AND pups are always welcome here!
Engagement photos in Franklin, Tennessee can be a great option because there is some GREAT food right across the street at The Factory. If you’re all dressed up already, you might as well make a date night out of it!
While these of course are not all of the best locations to take engagement or couples photos in Nashville, having someone local to chat through your vision is tremendously helpful. All of these locations featured are free and open to the public which makes things super easy as far as not needing permits goes. If you are looking for a Nashville Tennessee engagement and wedding photographer, let’s get to planning here!
